City+Sea is a project by a cross-disciplinary group from University of Wollongong: Kim Williams, Leah Gibbs, Lucas Ihlein, and Sarah Hamylton, with artwork contributions from Hayden Griffith and Aunty Barbara Nicholson.
City+Sea has four parts:
- A continuous 3.5 hour long video, shot from a fishing boat, which tracks along the length of the Illawarra.
- A 26 metre long watercolour drawing of the same coast (drawn on the boat itself).
- Two poetic texts by Aunty Barbara Nicholson.
- A booklet with writing and photos by the artists, designed by John Causley.
